Safe City Education Project

On Friday 24th February, the City of Gosnells and Gosnells Police delivered an ant-graffiti presentation. The Year 5 students learnt about willful damage and criminal responsibility.

The Three Little Pigs Year Ones and the Big Bad Wolf Hairdryer.

The Year Ones enjoyed reading different versions of the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf. Then they designed and built a house for the pigs. The houses could be made from:

  • pop sticks and tape
  • straws and tape
  • paper and tape

Mrs Crimp became the Big Bad Wolf and tried to huff and puff and blow the houses down with a hairdryer. Everyone thought the houses made out of paper would blow away but the Year Ones thought of very clever designs to make their houses strong.

Remembrance Day

On Friday, 11th November at 11.00am, we remembered the many who have given their lives so that we may live ours in peace.

The poppy has long been a part of Remembrance Day. In Science, the Year 6 and 5M students made poppies from recycled cans to remind us of those who gave their lives so that we could live in freedom.

Book Week

To celebrate Book Week, classes joined buddies in the library to read, read, read.

Check out the creative entries in the Book Week Dress Up Completion. Children were asked to dress their teddy/soft toy as a character from their favourite book.
